About Us
As a family of multiple French Bulldogs we’ve developed an immense love for Frenchies and a special understanding of this extraordinary breed. We have learned to recognize communication tendencies and traits in their learning process, making training easier, faster and more successful. Frenchies are so easily adaptable to their environment; and their acuity, energy and speed is impressive for their compact size, making them very desirable companions. Needless to say it wasn't long before our family was captivated by the French Bulldog Breed and we had 6 Frenchies in our home.
Our family members and friends observed our Frenchies and their silly behavior, their unique characteristics and the ease of training them that they also wanted to add a Frenchie to their family. In order to help them attain their goal we set out to study the art of breeding and we grew our knowledge and expertise about the breed, the breeding processes and the best practices and principles. Then before we knew it friends of theirs were wanting to add Frenchies to their family as well and what started as breeding for our family members turned into having grown a solid reputation as a professional and trusted Dog Breeder of quality and healthy French Bulldogs while always respecting the breed standards and conducting business in a transparent and professional manner.
Fig Tree Frenchies specializes in structure, genetics and temperament. We breed for exceptional quality and ensure we always maintain the highest possible standards. We raise exceptional animals in a loving and caring environment with 24hr care. We are dedicated to following a responsible breeding program, healthcare routine and best practices of the trade. Our focus is on keeping our Frenchies healthy and happy and getting them prepared with the basic training fundamentals for when they find their new homes.
Being based in Salinas & Watsonville, California our French Bulldogs enjoy an ideal climate of near perfect weather, they have plenty of room to play, socialize and start their indoor & outdoor training. We take our responsibilities very seriously and we strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all of our litters and to educate their new owners for successful integration and for a flourishing companionship relationship.
The happiest days for us are when one of our frenchies is adopted by a loving and welcoming family. As every responsible dog breeder, we carefully screen potential owners to make sure they understand exactly what is required when it comes to taking care of the French Bulldog breed. We take the time to offer insight through our blog and we have developed a informational manual in French Bulldog ownership as this breed is different and has very specific considerations in their care.
